1. I am thinking about getting certified as a Medical Assistant in order to put myself through further schooling. Would this be possible?
2. How much does it cost to take the classes?
3. What kind of opportunities are offered internationally for this job?
4. Are there any options for promotion or salary upgrade as a Medical Assistant?
5. What are the hours like?
6. Anything else I should consider?
Thanks. Please note I am talking about medical assisting, not nurse’s assistants.

I am thinking of going to school for Medical Assisting or Billing & Coding since the programs are relatively short, gain experience in a medical setting and then go back to school for sonography. Is this the best route to take without college credits or should I take another trade to reach my goal in sonography? I am changing careers
