My boyfriend is extremely close to his mum, his Dad died a few yeara ago and they went by way of a lot together. He goes round there every single day for lunch, dinner, he stays over each night when he’s not with me. Don’t get me wrong, I feel this is lovely that he wants to spend so a lot time eith his mum, the dilemma is that he tells her EVERYTIHNG about our relationship then tells me what she thinks, typically the answer is something that I do not want to hear.
He thought I should give up some of the hours at my job and then when I told him no he stated “nicely mum thinks you ought to do that”, what flippin company is it of hers??
Anyway, one more problem is that I have a medical condition and even though he has been fab, actually supportive his mum keeps saying “are you certain your ok with this, your not obtaining it a bit considerably are you?” She also said its wasn’t fair on him when I was ill as it was generating him stressed.
He has his own location which he is renting out soon and instead of him moving in with me (which was happening) he is now going to move in back in with his mum.
BTW we have been together almost a year and he is 45, I am 30.
He also seems to have an opinion on how I really should run my life and what I ought to and shouldn’t do and of course his mum agrees with him. I didn’t notice it before but I am beginning to now.
We had a fall out, primarily since I was acquiring fed up with continuously acquiring “advice” about what I need to be doing.
To top it of he rung the hospital I am under and told 1 oif the nurses loads of stuff about me, personal issues that I wouldn’t tell my greatest friend. I feel that extremely wrong.
The final factor that actually hurt was he stated the didn’t want a miserable girlfriend (if I’m not feeling nicely, I can be fairly grumpy) and he definitely didn’t want to be my carer (I don’t will need a carer and in no way have). That hurt.
Please aid, I’m finding in the neck from my parents to get back with him but I do not know what to do.

You do not want a mama’s boy. that close disgusts me. I feel ya. um. Tell him to maintain the relationship between you two and if he still snitches to mom, move on to an independent guy who doesn’tt require mother’s approval for every thing. Besides, the age says its too late for hope. But if you enjoy him, talk, talk, talk, then attempt compromising.
