My parent wants me to take a at home medical billing course- you can mail in or do online. Why would i do this? They do not give u a degree only a diploma or certificate or something after a year for like 800 dollars?
Would any employer ever except this?
A friend of mine overdosed after sniffing vicodin and percocet together in addition to drinking a couple glasses of wine. She went to the hospital this morning. I was just wondering what kind of medical attention she would be receiving for an overdose on sniffing such things?
By no means am I a slacker, I just want to have a higher chance of getting into medical school. Im currently an undergrad and I heard that many undergrad biology majors (which is what I am) seem to have lower chance of getting in, since there are so many of them applying to medical school. SO I wanted to know if there’s another science major (like Physical Therapy, Physicians Assistant, Chemistry, Physics, etc.) that I should switch to, to improve my chances of acceptance?
I need a medical certificate to return to class and explain to my professors that I have been sick. What is a medical certificate and what does it say? Do health clinics provide medical certificates?
I want to stay home for more than 6 weeks, but I only had a vaginal delivery. Aside from exhaustion and a labor-induced, very uncomfortable hemorrhoid, I have no medical issue. Would that be enough of a reason for my doctor not to release me?
Also, would that be a major enough medical reason for my short term disability insurance to continue paying me for the additional two weeks?
I am planning on applying to medical school sometime in the next year or two, but I am retaking at least three classes. I am wondering how would those retakes impact my application? Has anyone been through this situation?
I am doing a project and need to know what medical personnel would be involved. Thanks.
Hi All! This is Ainsworth Moore, USA Drug Plan Rep! Below are just some ways this drug card be valuable to someone who has insurance that covers Rx Drugs!
(1) Formularies: Insurance companies are increasingly limiting which drugs they will pay for example: Birth Control, Diabetic Supplies, Smoking cessation and drugs that they decide are not cost effective for them.
(2) High deductible plans: Our card program allows you to get discounts on Rx Drugs before you reach the level at which the insurance company starts paying benefits!
(3) Medicare Part D: Our Rx drugs program can be used to secure discounts on those drugs that are excluded from Medicare Part D. It will also provide discounts when a person on Medicare reaches the “coverage gap” often referred to as a “donut hole”, which is a period of time during the coverage year when the beneficiary will be responsible for paying all drug costs out-of-pocket, with no help from the plan.
As said earlier, what you see above are just some ways our Discount Drug Card can be valuable! I myself gave away a card to a lady who was in charge of a Senior center and she tried it against her own Insurance and found out that she saved more using ours!
Will the person get a discount every time the card is used? The person using the card will get a discount approximately 96%of the time. The reason it is not 100% of the time is that pharmacies from time to time price certain drugs at cost to attract customers to their stores. In this type of situation our cardholder would get the lowest price.
You may be asking yourself, just how much can one save? Users save between 10% – 85% on most drugs (Brand Name and Generic)! There are NO Waiting Periods and NO Pre-existing Exclusions! NO Medications are Excluded and Everyone Qualifies! NO Claims to File and your Entire household can use it! Instant Activation! Cards NEVER Expire!
Still wondering if you should get our USA Discount Drug Card? Remember the card is FREE, and you never will know if you there is a saving, unless you try it! You can search for pharmacies in your area and also look up prices before you go to the pharmacy!
So what do you have to lose? You guessed it…NOTHING!
You can click HERE and print your own card! Though the information on the card itself is in English, the information can be printed in both English and Spanish!
If you have any questions, please call me at 816-399-0131!
Thank you all for reading and make it a great day!

Hi all.
What medical illnesses/conditions/infections would prevent a person from working in a pharmaceuticals manufacturing environment?
I am asking because a relative has been offered a job in a pharmaceuticals manufacturing environment, but require some kind of medical clearance before he can commence. He most likely have one or two STI from his sexual relationships. Is that likely to show up in a medical clearance / affect his chances of getting the job?
